Blueberry Dump Cake

  • 4 cups fresh or 32 ounces frozen blueberries
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 16 ounce box vanilla cake mix*
  • 1/2 cup 1 cube unsalted butter, melted


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 12 inch round oven safe skillet or baking dish.
  • Add berries to prepared dish and cover with lemon juice.
  • Dump contents of cake mix onto blueberries and shake pan to evenly distribute. Cover with melted butter.
  • Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, 35-45 minutes.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.


Weight of cake mixes depends of brands. Its okay if the weight is a little off from the recommended 16 ounces.
