ADVERTISING

We may use third-party advertising companies to serve content and advertisements when you visit the Website, which may use cookies, as noted above.
Real Housemoms uses Google Analytics Advertising Features. These first-party cookies and other first-party identifiers, and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) or other third-party identifiers are used to discover reader interests, general locations (country, state, city), age range and other details available through this Google product. This information is used to determine content for this Website and is sometimes shared with potential and current advertisers as general information to support validity for campaigns. Your personal, individual information is never shared with anyone. Types of information share include general percentages by city, interest, age range, and information of that nature.
If you prefer for this information to no be collected using the above-stated cookies, you may opt-out at this link for any Google Analytics listed.
Retargeting Ads
From time to time, the Website may engage in remarketing efforts with third-party companies, such as Google, Facebook, or Instagram, in order to market the Website. These companies use cookies to serve ads based on someone’s past visits to the Website.
Affiliate Program Participation
The Website may engage in affiliate marketing, which is done by embedding tracking links into the Website. If you click on a link for an affiliate partnership, a cookie will be placed on your browser to track any sales for purposes of commissions.
Real Housemoms is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and links to Amazon.com. As part of this Amazon Associates program, the Website will post customized links, provided by Amazon, to track the referrals to their website. This program utilizes cookies to track visits for the purposes of assigning commission on these sales.
Sponsored Posts & Content
Aubrey may receive payment or products from time to time to supplement my posts, but this will never influence what Aubrey writes and she will disclose if she has received any such compensation to you, our dear readers. She does this because she cares about her readership and wants to be completely open and honest with you (oh, and also she’s required by federal law to make those disclosures.)
The Website may engage in sponsored blogs posts (ie. recipes and content paid for by brands featuring their product or service), which may include embedding tracking links into the Website. If you view a sponsored post on the Website, a cookie will be placed on your browser to track traffic and URL click-through for purposes of performance tracking if the post includes a tracking link. Not all sponsored posts have an embedded tracking link. Information such as IP address and actions on Website (such as clicking on a link) will be retained. Any posts without tracking pixels and/or third-party comment forms will fall solely under the policies of the Website.
Additionally, sponsored posts may include a third party commenting form that will collect your information entered into the form. The third party comment form retains that information for the media network or brand the Website has collaborated with on the sponsored post and is not retained by the Website. The third party forms will look different from the standard Website comment form and there will be no standard comment form available on the post. By filling out the third party form, you are accepting the terms outlined by that media network and/or brand’s privacy policy, not that of the Website.
Please refer to the privacy policy of the following media networks I partner with for further information – IZEA’s privacy policy & TapInfluence’s privacy policy.
NEWSLETTERS
On the Website, you may subscribe to our newsletter, which may be used for advertising purposes. All newsletters sent may contain tracking pixels. The pixel is embedded in emails and allows an analysis of the success of online marketing campaigns. Because of these tracking pixels, we may see if and when you open an email and which links within the email you click. Also, this allows the Website to adapt the content of future newsletters to the interests of the user. This behavior will not be passed on to third parties.
