Mexican Brownies are a fun and delicious chocolate dessert! A fudge brownie is laced with hints of cayenne pepper and cinnamon for layers of surprising flavor!
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 9-inch x 13-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl (or stand mixer), beat together the brownie mix, milk, oil, eggs, cinnamon, cayenne, and chocolate chips until evenly combined.
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
Remove the brownies from the oven and place on a wire rack to cool. Cut into 15 squares. If desired, dust cocoa powder or powdered sugar mixed with cinnamon on top of the brownies before serving.

These brownies can be made in a smaller pan for a thicker brownie. Reference the back of the brownie mix box for temperature and times.
