Baked Egg Nog French Toast

Baked Egg Nog French Toast is the perfect for your Christmas breakfast. It's a simple and tasty make ahead breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 7 large eggs
  • 2 cups of full fat egg nog
  • 1/3 c sugar
  • 1/4 nutmeg
  • 1/4 cinnamon
  • 1/4 salt
  • 1 1/2 vanilla
  • 1 loaf of french bread cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 3 T brown sugar
  • 1/2 t cinnamon

Instructions

  • in a large bowl combine eggs, egg nog, sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, salt and vanilla
  • toss in bread cubes and cover completely
  • place in a greased baking dish evenly and pour any remaining egg nog mixture
  • cover the dish and place in the fridge overnight or eight hours
  • mix brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl
  • uncover french toast and sprinkle top of even layer of cinnamon brown sugar
  • preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • bake for 45 minutes uncovered
