Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.
Turn to LOW and steep until wine is steaming but not boiling, about 1 hour.
Pour wine through a strainer into glasses.
Garnish with orange slices and a cinnamon stick, if desired.
If you want to keep your mulled wine warm once it's done cooking, turn your slow cooker to WARM and keep covered until ready to serve.Storing: Strain out spices and pour wine into a pitcher and cover with plastic wrap. It will keep for about 2 days in the fridge.
