Combine 2 cups of flour, yeast, and salt together in a stand mixer with the dough hook attachment.
Mix in water. Add remaining flour and mix until dough pulls from the edge of the bowl.
Turn dough onto a lightly flour surface, and knead for 4-5 minutes until a smooth, elastic dough is formed.
Cover dough and let rest for 10 minutes.
Roll or pull out dough to your desired size and shape.
Grease a baking sheet or pizza pan with olive oil. Place dough on pan to cook.
Breadstick Toppings
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Brush olive oil all over the top of the dough
Sprinkle rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, and salt evenly over the dough.
Bake for 10 minutes. Sprinkle dough with Parmesan cheese and return to the oven.
Continue to check the dough every 5 minutes. Cooking time may take anywhere from 15-25 minutes in total. Once the dough is golden brown around the edges, remove the pan from the oven.
Transfer cooked dough to a cutting board and cut into 10 breadsticks. Serve with marinara for dipping.
