(one 1.5L bottle or two 750mL bottles)

simple syrup

pit removed & sliced

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a pitcher.
Using a large spoon, muddle the fruit to release juices.
Allow to sit in the refrigerator overnight (8 hours) for the best flavor. (Or at least 4 hours.) Serve cold.
Notes
You can freeze additional grapes to use in glasses to keep your sangria chilled instead of ice.
