Place diced apples, brown sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon in a small baking pan and bring to a boil on medium heat. Allow to simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Stir together the flour and water in a small bowl to make a slurry. Once the apple mixture begins to thicken stir in the slurry and continue to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Remove from stovetop and transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
Spread the butter on top of the tortilla. In a small bowl, stir together the sugar and cinnamon. Then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar on top of the tortilla.
Cut the tortilla into wedges and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 5-8 minutes until the tortillas are crispy and the cinnamon sugar has melted onto the chips. Serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Nutrition is for 1/2 bowl of dip and 1/2 of the tortilla with toppings.You can make more tortilla chips as desired and even cut them into smaller pieces before baking.
