light corn syrup

milk chocolate chips

cup
pecan halves
1
9 in unbaked pie crust shell
Instructions
Prepare pie crust in a 9 inch pie pan.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Put 1 cup chocolate chips in bottom of unbaked pie shell in single layer.
Layer chocolate chips with 1 cup pecan halves.
In a mixing bowl with electric mixer, beat eggs.
Add sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, butter, salt, cocoa, and flour.
Mix until all incorporated.
Pour in pie filling, pecans will rise to the top.
Cover pie crust with crust cover or with foil.
Bake for 45 mins.
Let cool completely before serving.
Best if made a day ahead.
