Cranberry Tea
Fresh cranberries steeped in a simple syrup with cinnamon and cloves creates a comforting Cranberry Tea that warms you through and through. A special holiday treat perfect for sipping in front of a cozy fire on a chilly night.

Ingredients

cups
water
4
ounces
fresh cranberries
½
cup
granulated sugar
2
tablespoons
orange juice
1
tablespoon
lemon juice
1
cinnamon stick
2
whole cloves
pinch
of salt
Instructions
In a large saucepan, add 4 cups water and 4 ounces fresh cranberries. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to mid-low. Simmer for 30 minutes.
Next add 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons orange juice, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 whole cloves, and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine.
Remove from heat, cover and steep for 1 hour.
You can leave the cranberries in the tea or strain if you prefer. Give it a taste and add more sugar if you prefer. Enjoy!
This tea is also quite tasty over ice!
