Line the inside of each bun with 6 pepperoni and top each with a hot dog. Spoon 1 tablespoon of sauce onto each hot dog then top with mozzarella cheese and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
Place hot dogs on a baking sheet and broil for 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Alternatively, if hot dogs were grilled, the topped dogs can be placed onto the top shelf of the grill with the lid closed for 3-5 minutes to melt cheese.
