Liz's Candied Carrots

These carrots are candied using brown sugar, butter and then simmered with rosemary for a flavor combination that is amazing. They are super simple to make and perfect for your holiday table.

Ingredients

  • 2 c carrots sliced into 1 inch pieces or use baby carrots
  • 3/4 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 c butter
  • 2 c water
  • 1 t salt
  • 6 sprigs fresh rosemary

Instructions

  • combine all ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a boil
  • reduce heat to a simmer and allow to cook for 30 min or until tender.
