Chocolate Covered Football Krispies

This rice Kripsies are shaped like footballs and helmets and dipped in coconut chocolate. Your friends will love these while they watch the big game.

Ingredients

  • 6 T butter
  • 8 c mini marshmallows
  • 2 T vanilla extract
  • 12 c. Rice Krispies
  • 2 c. chocolate
  • 2 c. white chocolate
  • 4 T coconut oil divided
  • M&M's in favorite teams colors

Instructions

  • Melt butter in a large pot over med heat
  • add marshmallows and stir to melt
  • remove from heat and add in vanilla extract and stir
  • add in cereal and stir
  • spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray and spread out cereal in an even layer
  • allow to cool
  • cut out football shapes and helmet shapes with a cookie cutter
  • melt 2 T coconut oil and chocolate in a double boiler
  • dip football shapes and place on a baking sheet lined with wax paper
  • place in freezer until hard
  • melt white chocolate and 2 T coconut oil in double boiler
  • dip helmets and add M&M's to decorate
  • place on baking sheet lined with wax paper
  • place in freezer until hard
  • place white chocolate into a zip lock bag and snip off a tiny piece of the corner
  • make the lines of the footballs using the white chocolate after it has cooled a bit but still spreadable.
  • back to to the freezer to harden
