Alright guys! Summer vacation is just about over for my kids. That means I’m getting back on my regular schedule too! This year we had an amazing summer traveling and spending time together but I took time off of my exercise routine and was eating all the vacation food I wanted. I’m now at my heaviest and ready to make a change. So, I’m starting a series on Real Housemoms called #RHFitFridays!
I’m really excited about this! I want these posts to be a conversation. I’ll share with you all my progress, my struggles and maybe a recipe or two and I want to hear from you guys. Are you making changes to get more healthy? Have you already and been successful? What’s working for you guys and what’s not?

I just got a Fitbit Charge HR
OK, goal time.
I definitely have a weight goal but I’m not going to plaster that all over the internet. Sheesh! I’m not that crazy! I will say that I want to lose roughly 30% of my body weight. I know that for it to be a permanent loss it won’t be fast. I know that I will have ups and downs and get frustrated but I’ll stick with it. I’ll have you all to keep me accountable, right?!
My biggest goal for myself, though, is to make sure that at the end of the day I feel proud of myself. Did I do something out of my comfort zone? Did I push myself in cycle even though no one can see what gear I’m on? Did I pass on the ice cream that my husband keeps buying for himself and the kids and looks really amazing and full of chocolate? Small victories over and over will add up to a big changes for me.
